This enhancement results in lower CPU utilization which allows more compute capacity for productivity and office software used by Acronis end customers while compute-intensive security operations run in the Intel® integrated GPU. The Acronis solution combines complete single-agent cyber protection with Intel® TDT. Acronis researchers found that while scanning all the processes in system memory on supported CPUs, Intel® TDT reduced the load on the CPU 2.4x times, by offloading the job to the Intel® integrated GPU. Intel® TDT technology allows Acronis cyber protection solutions to free resources while scanning HDD and memory resulting in improved system performance.

Otherwise these Virtual Machines will be shut down for about 30 minutes and started back automatically during the maintenance window. Consider shutting down Disaster Recovery Virtual Machines manually in Management Console before the maintenance window in case a regular graceful shutdown is not enough and some special procedure is required for the running services. The existing protection plans or regular backups activities will not be affected.Temporary technical protection plans will be created and automatically deleted during the maintenance.Management Console might become unavailable for up to 5 minutes during the maintenance window.Graceful restart of all running Disaster Recovery Virtual Machines (Recovery and Primary servers) should be expected during the maintenance.
